Who is responsible for your data

This site, basiscloud.com, belongs to BASIS. The data controllers are:

  • BASIS Consultores, S.A., tax ID 3499208-1. 19 Avenida 2-78 Zona 11, Edificio Distrito Miraflores, Oficina 216, Ciudad de Guatemala, Guatemala.
  • BASIS Consultores, S.A.S., tax ID 901818485-9. Vda. Fonqueta, Condominio Vento Reservado Casa #41, Chía, Cundinamarca, Colombia.

What data we collect

When you visit the site. We use Google Analytics 4 to learn how many people visit us and how they use the site. Google Analytics stores cookies in your browser and records, among other data:

  • the pages you view and the time you spend on them,
  • the links and buttons you use, such as the WhatsApp button,
  • your device type, browser and operating system,
  • your approximate location (country and city) and the site you came from.

This data does not let us identify you by name. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising.

When you write to us. If you contact us on WhatsApp or by email, we receive your name, your number or email address, and whatever you tell us in your message.

The site has no forms and no user accounts.

What we use your data for

  • To understand which parts of the site are useful and improve them.
  • To answer your messages and, if you ask, send you a proposal.

We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

Who we share it with

  • Google LLC, which provides Google Analytics and processes the data on servers outside Guatemala and Colombia, including the United States.
  • WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to write to us that way. WhatsApp’s privacy policy then also applies.

How long we keep it

  • Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
  • The messages you send us are kept for as long as they are needed to handle your request or our business relationship.

How to opt out of measurement

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site works the same without cookies.

Your rights

At any time, you can:

  • know what data we hold about you,
  • ask us to update or correct it,
  • ask us to delete it or withdraw your consent,
  • find out how we have used it.

To exercise them, write to info@basiscloud.com with your name and your request.

If you are in Colombia, Law 1581 of 2012 sets these deadlines for our reply: 10 business days for inquiries and 15 business days for claims. You may also file a complaint with the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (Colombia’s data protection authority).

Minors

This site is aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with its effective date.
